Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website.

I feel incredibly privileged to lead Runwell Community Primary School and feel that we truly represent the diversity of our local community.  Runwell has recently expanded to 2 forms of entry and in 2017 we opened our Nursery provision where we cater for children from 3 years of age. 

We are an inclusive school and are proud of our reputation in this area.  We believe that every child should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and our focus is every child making progress from their individual starting points.

Our three core values form our ‘ABC’ of learning…ASPIRE, BELIEVE, CONNECT. 

We wish for all children to ASPIRE to be the very best they can be and have a clear vision of their future hopes and desires.  We want them to BELIEVE in themselves and have high levels of self -esteem,  developing the confidence to push themselves to the next level of their achievement.  Finally, we fundamentally feel that no child can achieve without making secure CONNECTIONS, with staff, their community and most importantly with one another.  We seek to help children make connections also in their learning, ensuring that the curriculum is relevant to their lives, both now and in the future, ensuring that all our children become lifelong learners.
